Karate Tech for Homeschoolers in the KMC

By R.M.  Age 13

Karate tech has many classes, but only two homeschool classes located on Ramstein AFB and Vogelweh, Pulaski Barracks. When karate tech was founded it was a father and son business, but it grew quickly, and now there are many schools around Europe and the United States. One of the main instructors is Master J. He has been teaching for eight years and practicing martial arts for twenty-one years. Karate Tech is not one style, but a combination of many styles which is known as MMA. MMA stands for mixed martial arts, and Karate Tech's style of MMA is made up of karate, hapkido, wing stung, tae Kwon do, kick boxing, and Filipino arnis.

Martial arts is a good way to learn discipline and self defense. The homeschool class was
developed to help homeschoolers build self esteem, and to give them an opportunity to compete in a friendly environment. The classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at both locations. The homeschool classes have start times which begin earlier than the regular instructional classes. This can be beneficial to homeschool families with busy schedules. Those students taking homeschool Karate Tech are also eligible to participate in tournaments, sparring class, and demo team.
